We are waiting for our permanent visa, we're going to Perth. We did consider Queensland, but having talked to a lot of people they tell us the humidity and excessive heat are very draining. Oh course some people will thrive on that, but the relatively cooler temperatures of Perth will do us fine.

Also you are closer to great holiday destinations on the west coast, Thailand, Hong Kong, etc.

Where are you from? We are from Grimsby in Lincolnshire. I will probably spend my holidays in 'sunny' Grimsby visiting the folks.
