Perth - what kind of winter?

After all the recent coverage with the bad weather in the other states, I am wondering what kind of winter Perth will be in for.
Although it is only May, the weather so far has been really nice but it is deffo starting to get cold, the PJ's are on, the doona is on the bed and the dog kennel is padded out with various doggy blankets and there is a distinct chill in the air at night and early morning - I love it.
I enjoy feeling snug when you first put the gas fire on and then as it gets colder, we will graduate to two extra blankets on our bed and an oil heater in our bedroom and I never thought I would feel the cold like this when we first moved here.
So I wonder if we will be in for a warm winter or a wet/stormy/windy 'blow your roof off' kind of winter, or did we have our fill with the Perth storms last year?
What do you reckon?

I have no idea but more rain than last year would be great.
And yeah, even though we were living in a rental that was freezing (with a capital F) last winter, being Canadian, I got a thrill out of the couple of mornings that we had frost. I even took photos...
We must be getting used to it or our new house has better insulation. The kids begged for us to have the heater hooked up by this time last year. This time I'm hoping to hold out until June.
