Smile Perth visit

Flight booked today so we are now set to go on May 5th to check out Perth.
Can anyone recommend good accomodation, have seen some great B & Bs.
Looking for advice as to the best locations to relocate to with good schools when we get there.
This is our first visit, but as we are serious about going out there full time felt we needed to be sure.

Hi Golden Girl,

If you want independance rather than B&B take a look at

www.users.bigpond.com/guat

I have stayed there and although expensive it was a great base, short walk to Kings Park and city center.

Guat runs them and is a fantastic lady and very helpfull.

Try the pomsinperth website, they have a few houses now, ranging from about $500 a week. When I compared these to B&B places it worked out favourably(we're a family of four though). Couple of the houses even have pools. Depends if you want to be tied to one place though. Mindarie Marina Hotel was quite reasonable and okay.

We're just back from Perth and booked a villa through www.pomsinperth.com. They have several villas, we stayed in a 4 bed with pool in Joondalup and it was nice. costing about $600 per week. We hired a car from Bayswater car rental who were the cheapest we could find, less than $30 a day.

My husband met up with Nigel and Shirley who run "poms in perth" (I had to fly back home alone for an emergency, so hubby met them on his own) and they were really nice, friendly and helpful.

Hope this helps.
