We are planning to goto Australia in December but we can't make our mind up on where we should goto.
Is anyone in the same boat or has anyone been in the same boat?
Would appericate any comments.
Cheers.

Arse-end of nowhere on the west coast - or the busiest most vibrant city in Oz ... can't believe you're even asking.

I've been to Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth. IMO Sydney and Brizzie are the best by a country mile. Perth and Canberra are the worst.

Depends what you want. Do you want to live in a vibrant busy city with other 4,2 Mio people or do you prefer a more laid-back living in a 1,5 Mio city, enjoy the nice dry climate and beautiful beaches? Do your research and come for a visit. It's gonna cost you lots of money to move interstate so better you spend some more money for the flight and check it out before
.
.Maybe worth asking a different question. Create a list of all the things you want from your new home and then ask if you get what ever it is from each city. There's bound to be one that ticks more boxes. Let us know what you want from your new home.
Sorry, I know little about actually living in either city, but all those who moved will be happy to tell you if you can get whatever it is there...

as Paul Keating said

What if you want to work in oil, Melbourne and Perth are the only options, or are they?
