Hi there,

No idea but will be watching this one ...

Depends what your job is I guess, we want to be about 40 / 30 / 20 miles away from Perth North or South not bothered :),

Hi, we're in the northern suburbs at the moment, looking at houses, schools etc. Most are family orientated, depends on your price bracket really. So much for the kids to do, beaches, parks etc. Spoilt for choice. We're looking at schools this week to help make the decision where to settle, been looking at houses this weekend.

Like Loopy says, it depends how much you want to spend.
Your job could decide whether to live north or south.
Then you have the decision of do we buy the average house in the more expensive suburb or the fantastic house that has everything in the ave suburb....decisions decisions.

Yea wonderful did you bid for either this home or the piss poor land at Dullross(Kinross)?

A COTSWOLDS-STYLE manor in Peppermint Grove was passed in at $2.62 million at auction yesterday.

The imposing residence in McNeil St, set back from the road by 30m, was owner-architect built in 1936.

It has remained in one family for the past 45 years, but the five-bedroom house on 1528sq m had been vacant for two years.

Now part of a deceased estate, the house is listed on Peppermint Grove's municipal inventory.

In the northern suburb of Kinross, about 400 people turned up to watch 45 vacant blocks sold under the hammer for a total of $5,551,000. A record price of $141,000 was paid for a 650sq m single residential site.

Why would a brown waste land like Perth want a a piece of the Cotswolds in it , could it be most would prefer the Costwolds to crapy WA .
As for Dullross (Kinross) just 5 years ago the land was next to worthless now thanks to refugees its way over priced.

Cotswolds DownUnder - the activity of some Dreamy Pom too proud to admit defeat and retreat - "Strategic Withdrawal".

I imagine the price paid in Dullross (Kinross) includes the cost of bulldosing and clearance on Dreamers Departure.

Could be but more like some one trying to brighten up a very dull town with a house that does not look like a bunker.
Dullross is full of dreamers who think suburbia is great , given that Dullross is right next to the the citys rubbish dump its not a top spot but a still minor point when the deluded land cashed up and no idea what to do.

Seems to me the biggest piece of garbage hangs out at the OB.

The sooner you f**k off back to UK the better for everyone.

From what I hear, the market for old slaves in Blighty has collapsed, even the young are being set free to roam at will. This market collapse will have devastating consequences 'round the world. Peculiar how many toss up on these shores, must be strange ocean currents due to global warming.

Time for an exchange of prisoners we will send back all the cheap labour from the UK (Aussies) and you return the dreamers.
We demand that you take back Mr Rolf Harris now he a pain in the arse and infecting the minds of the Poms the buggers been there far long , take Dame Edna (Bazza) and Clives James as well .

Clearly you are ready to sue for peace. On the satisfactory outcome of negotiations, the Aus Gov't will demand as a condition of Brutish surender that the Brutish Gov't provide you with a life time job as night watchman at the Battersea Old Dogs Home. We regard this as a most generous recompense.

As we did not want the Dreamers in the first place and we see their expulsion from Bruton as a brutish act of hostility leading up to the current state of war, we demand that you repatriate all Brutish nationals immediately, else negotiations can not proceed further. As a sign of goodwill, we will allow overflights of your merchant airforce to expedite air drops of lead boots and snorkels. Any overflying merchant vessel bearing arms will be shot down without warning.

On completion of evacuation of your nationals, we accept that any Aus nationals wishing to repatriate be sent to a friendly neutral country together with 100 kg of Aurum per man, 50 kg per woman and 20 kg per child. Negotiations are afoot in regarding a convenient port in Northern Ireland.

Demands to repatriate Harris, Edna, James will not be entertained; they are your quizlings and will endager any and all peace settlement.

The relocation of Harris, Edna, James could be sticking point if you will not take these creatures back where can we dump them ?
The lower grade jobs that are now filled by Aussies will be taken up by natives who turned their noses up to such work.
Had word that the dreamers can not be re-housed as a better class of refugee has taken up their places and refuses to go.
Nice work to request a stable job for me I prefer dogs to Aussies anytime easier to house train .

Is ocean front land any cheaper over there than here? That is cheaper than a few million if you can find one.

Not moving to Perth but always looking out for Real Estate Bargains.

3 years ago I bought a block on a beach side estate 25km from Perth City 100 yards from the beach , it cost 94K the same block would cost 300k now if you could buy it .
Try City Beach that would be 1 million plus or anywhere within 10km not far behind.

Bring back capital punishment, use the Guillotine, might send the right message to off some of the toffy tosser dream weavers who started all this nonsense.

The Aurum will compensate for the Brutish condescension. The Aussies will show the incapable classes the ropes if the Guillotine fails to impress.

The stalling is over: we have intel that you have rotting hulks left on the Thames.

If it has been discovered that you have been attempting to employ Aus domestic servants, your dogs will be shot in front of your family.

The only way to keep peace between Great Britain and Australia seems to be to re-take you under our wing and allow freedom of movement between both countries , this way as in nature all rubbish will sink to the bottom ? and the strong will rise to the top being GB.
