What amazes me is that in a state as large as WA everyone seems to think Perth is the only option.what about the south, south west or even north of perth :confused:

each to their own.

and i think you'll find a mixture of people on here living in WA and not ALL in Perth.

probably cos Perth is where most of the work is........not many cities between here and darwin!

Please start a thread that the hills are rubbish else when I get there the prices will have rocketed and people will be camping in the bush to get land

I think you might be too late.....

No seriously you get more for your money up here. The house next to us, a 3x1 on 1/2 an acre just sold for $390k. It needs a lot of work but has great potential. Saying that the house directly across from us, a 5x5 on 1 acre has just gone on at $1.3m! It is stunning though.

My husband's ideal would be a bit of land with a bit of a run down house in a nice area - ideally he'd like an outbuilding or something so that we can do something with it. He has bought houses here before and gutted them and done them up. He has always wanted a bit of land - but not ridiculous amounts. To be honest I think we'll be outpriced in WA.
