hi everyone! i have had a brain wave
I am going out to stay with my brother at Easter and wondered if anyone fancied meeting up so we can have a good ole chin wag It would be nice to talk to some people who can give me a REAL life version of events. I am coming with my daughter who will be 14.

Are you coming out on a reccie and looking to move to Perth? We've been in the country for four months now and are loving it, would be happy to meet with you while you are over here to have a chat about life in Perth!

We don't have any kids so its just me and the hubby but we can certainly tell you about our experiences coming over here, we had a fab long holiday and drove from Brisbane to Perth via Tasmania so we certainly have some stories to tell!

Not sure what our plans are over Easter as it seems ages away lol but I'll pm you my email/mobile and you can contact us nearer the time.

Don't forget the time difference. You posted those while all us Perthites were asleep Things may well be quiet on here over the weekend as we are all so busy out enjoying a weekend in the sun.

I'll keep an eye on this thread though to see where you may end up meeting. I have a 14 year old son and it can be difficult to drag him too far out, but if this ends up fairly local then we can pop along

keeping an eye on this thread - i havent forgotten and will be in touch just before we leave here

Myself, my wife and 9-month old son are coming over to Perth in mid March for a month to validate our visas. We'll be staying with friends at Rockingham and would love to meet up with some ex-pats whilst we're there. Let us know of any planned meetings during the mid-March to mid April period. We're aware of the regular Thursday meet at Hilary's so will plan to get down there.
Will also be looking to line up some interviews with recruitment agencies so if anyone is working for a recruitment agency, drop us a line.
