Hello, My partner and I are planning to go to Perth early next year, she will be on a student visa so I am entitled to work for 20 hours a week, can anyone advise what the part time work situation is like in Perth and the surrounding suberbs?

As a tourist city, there will always be plenty on offer in the hospitality trade, waitressing, barista, things like that. Jobs tend to be "casual" though rather than part-time.

Just did a search on www.seek.com.au and found 3,731 jobs containing part time in CBD, Inner & Western Suburbs

I was going to ask the same question. It's a great place but hardly a major tourist destination!
