Hi

We are moving to the hills as well. I have family there. Goosebury Hill is quite small, no shops to speak of if I remember rightly, though so close to kalamunda it doesn't matter. Goosebury hill is much more "Bushey" than Kalamunda ... walk down Tennyson Road to the end for example, and you walk straight into the bush!

Kalamunda has good schools, both state and religous (christian), quite a nice little town really, however this is refected in the house prices compated to say, Forestfield.

....hope this helps & let us know if you end up there. All being well we're going end of April

Avery Family Thanks for that It does sound like a very nice area and yes you are right since looking on the internet at property the prices do seem higher but there are some very nice properties.WE have only just started with the emmigration process looking at around 15 months before we can do anything.
Good Luck on your move you must let us know how you get on etc. Keep in touch if you can.

Had a friend who lived in Lesmurdie for many years.... excellent in most things and quite easy to get into Perth... is quite expensive iirc.
