Perth and Brisbane Visit - Accommodation help
Hi all
My husband and I, along with our two children (aged 2.5 and 1) are coming out to have a look at Brisbane and Perth at the end of February. We are planning to spend a week in each place to help us decided whether or not to emigrate (as neither of us has been to Australia before). I wondered if anyone could recommend any cheap/reasonably priced accommodation (feel free to PM me) in Brisbane and/or Perth? Our travel agent has been trying to push us into hotels at £100+ per night which is way above our budget. We are ideally looking for hostels with family rooms or B&Bs. I'm asking on this forum as while I am aware of the hostel booking websites, I prefer personal recommendations from people who have actually stayed in places, particularly now we have two young children. Any advice or pointers would be really helpful! Many thanks Carolyn |

When I stayed in Brisbane, I stayed here
Toowong Villas, 9 Ascog Terrace | Toowong, Brisbane 4066, Australia You might want to check out the apartment rates at Wotif: www.wotif.com We found staying in apartments, rather than hotels was much easier. |

Milton Motel Apartments is extremely central. My husband stayed at Bowen Terrace Accommodation in New Farm and he said they have family rooms that are en suite as well.
