We are looking round the Duncraig/ Padbury/ Carine way. My sister has bought in Duncraig and loves it. It is close to Hillarys beach (among others) and seems to be a reasonable mostly affordable option with good schools (I believe Poynter and Carine High are good). It is also close to the Whitford Shopping Centre which Shell says is fab! It is also 20 mins from the city on the train line so seems an all round ok place to be.

Woodvale and Craigie are cheaper versions of the above but a little further out.

How much you want to spend try Connolly , Freo , Cottesloe,Swanbourne, North Beach and Marmion to name a few good ones.
Grubs suburbs are very average but if you want the pits try Thornilie,Kwinana,Rockingham,Armadale,Midland , Girrawhein the rule of thumb is ifs its cheap its because its a down market area same as the UK location counts.

Woodvale cheaper than Padury/Duncraig you are clueless , the fact that you are giving out advice is beyond me , god help the poor sods the blind leading the blind.
Woodvale is about across the road from Padbury and a lot smarter , stick to Duncriag and buy a road map you get lost to easy.

You patronising bastard- I gain alot of advice from my family, friends and my own research (which is extensive- and yes I also own an up to date UBD). At least I am trying to HELP which is more than you ever do, you illiterate little shite.
Re the subject of Rockingham- I would be careful who you insult. Sophia is very happy there I understand and wont apreciate you telling everyone she lives in a s**thole.

Now please f off and find someone who cares to annoy.

Tambo - spare yourself the spat between Grub and pommie_bastard and visit www.aussiehome.com. Click on the tab marked "price charts" for actual facts, data and information on prices in different Perth suburbs. The "Perth map" tab will (unsurprisingly) take you to a map where you can see where the suburbs are, and how far they are from Perth, from Freo, from the beach, etc.

Madam I just wonder where your familys living you seem to know little of the area or suburbs apart from Duncraig which is the centre of your world I take your family are typical Perth people cannot find their way of their own backyard.
Believe me Rockingham is the pits the paint plant and Aluminum Refinery alone give off loads of polution the coast line looks like shite with white smoke and powder blowing up and down the coast , its the arse end of the arse end.
