It's not cheap though is it for holiday lets theres not much about with a pool for under $600 a week ( which if you were on holiday would be cheap) but when you are trying to keep the costs down!
Glad it may be of use.

Hi guys.
We have booked an apartment with the above and it's costing us $350 a week for self catering in March of this year in Perth City, 5 minutes walk from the shops etc. Bearing in mind that there's only the two of us and we only need a one bedroomed apartment. Also, we've never been there either so here's hoping it's not a hovel
!!!
If you want a car parking space it's $25 a week extra. There is parking around the side streets and you have to juggle it a bit, but if you're interested, the manager Guat is very helpful and will keep you right about where you can park for free in the area.
They were the first apartments that we found on the net and like yourselves, tried loads and loads of others but most were in the $600 region. We don't want anythin' posh, as long as it's clean. We just want to be central for the first two weeks so we can do our running about and booking things and registering for tax and what not. They also do longer term stays and the tariff becomes cheaper.
Hope this helps.

Well like you can't decide on an area! We are going to be buying some land but it's looking like we are talking south now as north coast prices are too high. We have been looking into Golden Bay recently apparently there is a train line being built there in the next few years or something? I was reading an article that said it might be an 'up and coming area' . Anyway no real idea till we get there! thats why I have tried to get a central loaction for a holiday let so we can keep the options open.

We have 2 little girls aged 1 & 2.
Golden Bay is next to secret harbour.
Do you have rellies in Kingsley - what are the prices like there?
We really want to get close to the coast but price scary for good blocks.
That Reiwa site is good isn't it?

Have you looked into building yet? I have been looking at these 'Mc mansion' things - I know they get a raw deal on this site but it sounds a lot easier to me!

Sectret harbour is down from Rockingham. We were looking up the top too but have decided it's cheaper south so will start searching down there and see if we like it.
