Default Pensions

Hello,

Can anyone please give me some advice on Pensions in Australia. We are coming to Sydney and want to know, what the score is.
Do employers have to pay a contribution etc, is it a 50/50 you and them?
I have a works pension in the UK which I am freezing and leaving here.
Thanks
Jasmin
