That should keep the rubber dollar flying plus keep the Mortgage rate at 6.75% , happy days for new refugees?
STEADY official interest rates are the likely scenario for quite some time to come, economists said today.
In a move that did not surprise financial markets the Reserve Bank of Australia today maintained a steady course on interest rates after its board meeting yesterday, keeping the cash rate at 4.75 per cent.
The rate was last altered in June 2002 when it was raised by 25 basis points.
