Being in England and not knowing anyone here other than my parents with and AU passport, I saw that Barristers can sign... does that include Retired Barristers? Anyone Know as that is the only person that has known me and my kids for more than 12 months on the list

I would say yes, as the main thing is that they are a respected member of the community - a policeman can do it for instance. However I'm sure there is a phone number where you can ask them direct. Maybe try their website. They're quite helpful if you phone them.

Actually I've just reread the info and it says 'currently employed as..' so that would be a no then, but I've remembered someone else who can do it so we are ok - phew.
