We've not got our visa's yet, but selling the house is very stressful as we have to lodge the bond when requested

Timing everything was a nightmare, I found (although we didn;t sell the house) - can't book flights etc with out a visa, wheres the visa, could get it We4dnesday, that means packers can come FRiday - oh shit they can't because.... etc etc etc

Going round in bloody circles - that's stressful.

Saying goodbye to hubby's brother and sister was hard - saying goodbye to my MIL and FIL was, I have to say, the absolute best bit of the whole lot - it was ace saying 'Well, I won't say see you soon, cos I won't, so goodbye and good riddance'
(hubby was out loading the car!)

Selling the house because that was really the point of no return. You can get your visa, do your validation trip etc, but when you no longer have somewhere to live in the UK, it kind of brings it all into focus.

Stress?
What stress?

Close call between the whole visa application/waiting bit and the leaving friends and family. F & F wins though.
The rest was stuff we could control ourselves.
Didn't have a house to sell, so can't comment there.
