Re: packing worldly goods ourselves??
Hi Guys,
We are only planning on taking a few box's as most of our stuff has been given to us and we figured we could replace things like bed and sofa pretty cheaply once we get to OZ?
We are not planning on taking any electrical goods with us, so its only really thing like DVD's CD's clothes, plates, etc.

We were looking at a table & 4 chairs here last wk at £270, in FURNITURE BAZAAR in Perth the EXACT same one is $1199!!
I know there could be a tax on new items... so that's something to remember! But after thinking long and hard and doing a lot of research we have gone for buying new here keeping in mind that Oz houses are BIGGER!! I can't move in my lounge for this MASSIVE suite (some of which is in the dining room!!)...ha ha! And the 50inch plasma looks ridiculous!! The super-dooper-king-sized bed won't even fit in my house and is still at the shop!!
but each to their own...and if you look through some of the shipping threads people have given advice and links to companies who will ship/fly a few boxes for you!
Good luck! Lisa,xx
