Default Oz PR and NZ work rights?

My husband and I are PRs of Oz. I know if we become Oz citizens we will be able to live and work in NZ.

Question: can we also live and work in NZ with Oz PR status?
Can anyone guide me to the right immi resource that shows this in writing?

Many thanks!

Yes you will be able to. That is the best thing to do.

Yes but you will be in danger of losing PR if you do not maintain the minimum residence requirments in Australia. Eg Last entry date on visa is 1 jan 2008, you go and live in NZ, come 2008 you will not be able to get a RRV or Australian Citizenship. If you left NZ and travelled you will have lost Aussie PR and the rights to live and work in NZ.

To get an RRV you must have been resident in Australia as a PR for at least 2 years in the last 5 years. For Citizenship one of those years must have been in the previous 2years.
