Hi,

Just wanted to know what you think of the Oz education system, is it similar or better thean the UK system?

Wanted to know because I have 3 daughters aged 2,4,6 and hope to move before Xmas this year.

Generally, the anecdotal comments are that it is not as good as the UK in the early years - but, it evens out. The OECD assessment is that Oz, NZ and UK education systems are of a similar standard. Just be aware that curricula are different!

However, the universities....

I may be able to answer that in 10 years time, when my 7 yr old girl leaves school, and by then I will know how well she has done

In the meantime all I can say is that she enjoys going to school..
