Been over for the last 2 weeks in perth again for our second time and loved it even more did not want to come home.
Anyway watching TV ( which is crap ) am i right was the budget today, could anybody let me know what happened.

Yes I believe it was today (or rather yesterday in AUS). Haven't read through everything yet but u may want to have a look at these websites for info:

Thanks for that, I take it that WA state has one as well as they are going on about stamp duty going down.

The WA State Treasure.... Ripper will give with one hand and take more with the other. He is a joke. This state Government has an inability to run properly and its just down to the amount of tax increases Rippoff has done over the last 5 years that we have a surplus of some 2 billion and not his skills.

I'm happy with the Fed. budget. Small tax cut for me this year with a bigger one (over $2k) next year. Solar energy is now a serious option with the increased subsidy.
Thing is, is it enough to keep KRudd and his union cronies from winning the election?

Yep, we get an extra $21 a week thanks to the tax cuts

It would appear as a family we are $24.03846 a week better off.
