Default Overseas pensioners travel concession for NSW

For when the in laws visit (both over 60) are they able obtain concession rates on NSW/Sydney transport at all please?

According to this link

You have to be in possession of a Commonwealth or State Seniors or Pensioner card - so it looks like the answer is no.

Definately no for us when we were in Sydney at Christmas. We did purchase a weekly ticket that allowed train / ferries / buses travel that was worth doing and some of the museums etc allow a discount for overseas visitors so worth asking.
