Default Overnight accommodation costs

Hi

Trying to decide whether to buy/hire a camper, or get a car and stay in holiday accommodation for one or two nights at a time. I know price isn't the only factor to consider, but it's still a pretty useful one to have!

So, any rough ideas of the cost of a "unit" for a family of 4? Obviously this will vary, so just a ballpark figure really...

Hiya.

There are plenty of B&B's around - I think you are traveling down the coast from Adelaide?

They will not be too busy at this time of year as it's winter.

Rooms for 2 can be around $75 per - ish. Not 100% sure.
We stopped in a few on a trip down through the Great Ocean Road.

There are a lot less areas where you can park up with a camper van (officially) for the night so it might limit where you travel and so on.

It really is a 6 of one/half dozen of the other question.

Hmm, $75 (if we could get the kids in there too) compares pretty favourably with a half-decent camper at $100+ per day, plus campsite charges...
