Default Over 45's options

Can anyone help me help some friends still in the UK

What exactly are the options for the over 45's...? As far as I can tell...a business visa or employer sponsered...If employer sponsered it may seem like a silly question, but does it have to be in something off the list or can it be in any occupation if it cant be filled from with in the Australian job market as it were..

Any options/opinions ideas welcome

thanks peppi

Employer nomination may be an option. To cut a long conversation short, why not download the employer migration booklet (booklet 5) from http://www.immi.gov.au and work from there?

Other family based visas, such as remaining relative or contributory parent may work for some.
