i'm not partial to either myself...but i used to be a competitive swimmer many moons ago and want to get back into it. Sea swimming is no good for that.

Thanx Meg..i think the Aquatic centre is the on for me...i am hoping to avoid screaming sprogs by going at 7am after i drop hubby at work!! ... i dont know many mothers who would be organised enough to have the kiddies at the pool that early, but who knows..i may be surprised!

Hi podgypossum,Try marion swimming centre 2 kids pools and a 50 metre pool.Schools use it until 3pm when schools are in.Excellent pool and grounds`enjoy. oh nearly forgot Oaklands rd

wow..just found marion swim centre website...thanx Jocks..i feel a bit daft as its only round the corner form where we have just rented a house..LOL...

ok..thats me sorted...now, no turning up at 5.30am for a good laugh..leave me in peace!!
