A KANGAROO with head wounds and a broken foot and ribs has been found in the back of an abandoned car in west Sydney in a case of animal cruelty.
Police called last night to an area in Cranebrook found the kangaroo in the back of the car in a distressed state.
Closer inspection revealed the animal was suffering head wounds.
A vet was called and the animal was sedated before it was taken for treatment for injuries that included a broken foot and ribs.
