Hi guys - what a day to have to work and with no chance to log on!
Thanks for all the good thoughts! Still hasn't really sunk in!
To answer few questions ...
RSMS = Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme which basically means we have a job to go to which we're tied to for minimum of 2 yrs and we get permenant residency from day one.
Timeframe is about average for this type of visa - this and ENS seem to be processed really quickly!
and just got back from Admirial pub celebrating with good friends - couple of which will have moved their celebrations for us to the Greystones in Sawtry!
and yes still hope to make meet up - packing should be finished by then so see no reason why not!
Here's to Blueracer and Swotsmart and dvdkb catching us up soon!
Our flights are already reserved through Trailfinders and we've got Singapore Airlines and double baggage allowance too!

Feeling a little jaded now after last night and sooo much to do! 
Someone tell me ... do the packers do lists of what's in each box or do we need to do that?
Today's list starts with checking christmas decorations, valueing dinner service etc!
