OK, for those of you that don't know, we are off to Perth in a little under a fortnight for a 2 week validation trip.

We are hiring a 'Wicked' Camper van for the duration (bar a couple of nights in the backpackers in Northbridge) and this is our plan:

Day 1: Backpackers & Perth City
Day 2: Pick up Kampa and head north to Cottesloe, Scarborough and Sorrento
Day 3: Joondalup & Yanchep
Day 4: Lancelin (sand surfing - yeeeeah!!) & The Pinnacles
Day 5: Swan Valley
Day 6: Freo, via Perth Hills
Day 7: Busselton, Margaret River
Day 8: Margaret River

Back North again

Day 9: Mandurah, Rockingham area......
Day 10: More Freo
Day 11: Return Kampa and Perth City.....

3 days allowed for travelling of course!

Achievable???

Not a hope in hell - it's lose man, lose!!

We's backpacking for chrissakes!!!!!!!!

That, of course, was our No. 1 priority!!!!
Secondly, was something reliable to do the miles in! Not sure if we made the right choice there though - time will tell..

We spent most of April over there and "WICKED" Campers were everywhere!!! They look really fun vehicles and appears that someone had a great time, legally, with a load of aerosol cans.
Have fun, but I really don't envy you with your itinerary!!!

We are starting to realise just what a 'tight' schedule we have set ourselves.........but are going with a 'what the heck' attitude, so will just play it by ear if need be!

Still waiting for offers of a cuppa tea, er...sod it, a beer (she can drive) whilst we're there!!

You've sure packed a lot into such a short space of time! We've not long come back from WA and loved it, saw loads of Wicked camper vans too. First thought they just belonged to surf bums till we started to see more and more of them and realised they were meant to be like that!

Felt the first real pangs of excitement today!!!
I am usually a very cool cucumber and fail to get excited at very much - validation trips to Perth included!!
I think the combination of my shite job, the pants weather and my a-hole of a boss have got me daydreaming of OZ and my apprehension and excitement has started to rise!!!



Only 3 days to work next week, pack Friday and fly out Saturday night - YaY!!!

Trouble is you won't want to come back !!

Sounds like a great trip. Have a brilliant time and don't forget to leave some stuff to do so that you have to come back quickly.
