So it continues, not overly impressed with the workmanship so far but I'll have to see how it goes.

We are getting excited watching it go up.
I just hope the neighbours are still talking to us by the time we move in

We are moving into a new rental in a couple of weeks and the new landlord is a builder (just won an award for his house building) so we may even have the builders of our house sorted when we are ready start our own .
Got to get the packing boxes out now.

Re: Our house has started.
Best of luck,
we move into our new home next week
we must have taken hundreds of photos, every slight change has been captured and e-mailed back to the UK.
Just the carpets to go down and we are in!!!!
probably taken about six months from slab to now, although we did have the christmas holidays when no work was done. also managed to score a free air- con system due to the suppliers mistake. yahoo!!
can't wait to get out of our rental and in our own home where we can hang some pictures and let the dog in (officially )
all the best to anyone who is building, it is a bit of a roller coaster but worth it in the end (hopefully)

As for the new neighbours; A few beers and a BBQ should do the trick
