Default One way travel insurance

Hi everyone, need some help on one way travel insurance.

Emigrating to Aus with the O/H but before we land on Aussie soil we will be travelling for 3 months in south east Asia. I'm desperately looking for one way travel insurance that will cover us for the 88 days travel and a week or two when we land in Aus. Go walkabout is no good for us as its up to 21 days, we have looked at World Nomads but wondering if anyone else has been in the same situation that can advise on good company to use.

Also we need to insure our gadgets, travel insurance do not pay out a lot if your things get stolen so need to find a gadget insurer for iPad, DSLR and camcorder.
UK companies will not insure us as its one way, so can anyone recommend a good Aussie insurer that will insure our goods while we travel.

Thanks in advance. BH

I found this

but you may still have to cover DSLRs etc separately.

Hi, congrats on your travelling and moving to Oz!
Take a look at this list of insurers, there are UK ones as well as EU and other countries - http://www.globespots.com/travelinsurance_uk.php
The above is for travel insurance only, I unfortunately do not know any good gadget insurers.
Good luck with your search!
