And the feeling will be even better on Monday morning!

I finished work on the Friday, celebrated all weekend and flew on the Monday. Much easier than dragging it out over several weeks. 4 days stopover in HK and wham straight into job and flat hunting.

Told yer!!

It is my last day of 'working' today as well - I say 'working' because I am a freelance journo working from home and actually spend more time walking the dog than working - and I am looking forward to Monday when the ritual email checking every 1/2 hour and constant phone calls from corporate t*ts can stop!

Enjoy your pampering!

Got a case officer!!!!!

True, her harrassed sounding answer machine message says please don't leave messages because I am flat out, which makes me worry - but at least it is a different sort of worry.

Fingers crossed for a phone call early next week saying our application is fine and the visa's are in the post!

jesus, you sounded like badgers then.

all we needed was a couple of references to ute's and maybe a couple of yadda yadda's and the transition would be complete.
