i hated that bit tarting up the house and getting it looking all spick and span instead of lived in but it was worth it only took 6 weeks surveyor round on monday :scared: :scared:

Good luck with all the viewings Boomie. It's an absolute nightmare trying to keep the place tidy.

We should exchange contract at the end of this month so hopefully we won't have to go through that again.

As for tidy bedrooms - boys definately win hands down!!

total wash out.......

11.30 and 4pm failed to turn up......

12.30..... came...... Mrs Bucket followed by under the thumb hubbie....... she hated lounge bay window..... beige throughout carpets........ the fact we had plaster walls......the kitchen layout was all wrong...... the garage too small...... the bathroom in wrong place......


the 3pm were nice...... they had been up a couple ov times and contacted our old agent who had told them it was off the market...... they came around again and saw we were with a new agent and made an appointment...... they liked it and sed they would b intouch....... will have to wait n c.....

oh well spose we will have to get used to these time wasters!!!!!

What a pain!!


we had this happen quite a few times. Make sure you tell your agents. I know that with at least one of the no-shows our agent told them they couldn't view any more houses through them. It just a waste of your time and the agents.

Don't know about your house......ours is like Billie Smart's circus just before anyone arrives .

Had major catastrophe today. Went for Chinese meal last night to celebrate visa. Thought we'd sneak some spare ribs for dog [don't think she's ever tasted bones before and wanted to give a treat].

To cut long story short....spare ribs = extremely windy dog:scared: who followed potential buyers round house on turbo charge:scared: :scared:

They were late so perhaps there is a god after all!!
