Well it finally arrived, hopeful will now get a full nights sleep not waking wondering if the email had come. Had a few nerves now knowing it's happening but we keep telling each other it would not be normal if we didn't feel a bit nervous.

OH starts new job on 1 April in Brisbane so now the fun begins.

We get 4 weeks paid temp. accom when we arrive but judging by the posts on here it is likely that the shipping will not arrive for weeks after this.

What have others done whilst waiting? Is it best to just get an apartment asap and make do with blow up beds and cheap and cheerful essentials or should be book into some cheap holiday let?

Also how do you know when your shipping will arrive, do you get a date in advance or is it just wait and see and then suddenly it's available.

Any advice would be helpful!
