Odd FIFO request

Odd FIFO request
Been in OZ for nearly 7 years ,hubby a carpenter who has worked FIFO on and off ,so pretty used to the application system.
He has done all the normal medicals etc ,but this time they asked him to do a voc which he passed .They have asked if he has been trades recognised which obviously he has to get his skilled visa years ago.They are now saying they want to see his original TRA certificate .No idea where it is or if it went straight to the agents we used back then ? Has anybody else ever come up against this?

Hi there,
yes it is not your normal question, I assume this is a tradesman rights cert, I have only been asked to show mine once in 25yrs, that was for a government job. To get a replacement I would contact the state of issue Trades Committee they would surely have a record of it. Best of luck
