NZ SMC door now appears to be open
Hi all
NZIS website details changes to the Policy manual, most are effective immediately, including sections of the SMC and Work Visa
I'm not sure if this constitutes the official release, but the policy manual is there with all details.
There are some issues regarding what constitutes work in Auckland to gain bonus points, but I'm sute they'll be sorted out soon.
Regards

I answered 'Yes' to the following questions:
(number in braces are the points from the point indicator)
- Do you have a recognised post-graduate qualification? (55)
- Do you have a qualification in any one of NZ's:
identified future growth areas? (5)
- Number of years of relevant experience (anywhere) 2 years (10)
- Number of such years experience in any one of NZ's:
identified future growth areas? (5)
- Was the work experience gained in a comparable labour market? (?)
- What is your current age? 20-29 (30)
After submitting the form I can see my score: 95, which is a bit different from the sum of points from the point indicator: 105.
I'm not sure how should I interpret these results? What does it mean 'comparable labour market' and what are the points for this question? Are there some hidden criteria?
I fact I expected the new SMC will clarify all those questions :-(
regards
