Is NZ easier to get into than OZ?

Hi

I seem to be unable to find much info about Skilled migration to NZ,
I have a masters degree and loads of other IT qualifications, but miss the OZ points system by 5 points..

Hows it work for NZ?

thanks

Cliff

everything you needed to know!

In terms of it being easier or not - I coildn't say but it has got harder to get into NZ with the new SMC rules which came in a couple of months ago.

Your main aim should really be to get a job offer - the door is more easily barged open if you do!

Good luck!

Not sure Cb. What I do know is me & fellow uni mate applied to Oz. Both applied via Skilled ind with Masters.

I got in. He didn't:confused: He then opted for NZ and got in there  Having said this......Pollster indicates rules have changed so not sure if above still stands:confused:

Advice would be to get a good migration agent to help determine the game ahead & strategic stance you need to take;)

Hope this helps

BTW: From my mate in NZ. He's extremely happy he went to NZ. Turns out it's not second choice. You may enjoy it!
