Re: NZ to Aus
we do however get the advantage of moving over.. securing a job.. with no visa issues and then applying for PR
which must be an easier route to securing enough points or have i got that all wrong? |

Does anyone know how long after a NZ citizenship has been approved can you move to Australia? Is there a stand down period? Any info. would be much appreciated. Thanks :D

Re: NZ to Aus
there isnt a standown period at all..
people have gained citizenship and boarded a plane as soon as their passport arrived.. and no issues but you did sign a piece of paper saying that you were going to make NZ your home.. so it "could" be an issue if immigration somehow found out and asked why you are now in OZ.. but if there is a plausible explanation .. in the highly unlikely event of you getting pulled later on.. i cant see it being too problematic |
