Hello, would anyone be able to tell me if my qualification in childcare is recognised in Oz, or do I need to get this transferred? I have had a look on job sites and note that most agencies are asking for diplomas, I wondered if this is the same thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi you would probably need to have your qualifications transfered, I am in Queensland and it was an easy process here and don't think it cost much, the transfer told me what it was equal to which helped when looking for a job.

i have nvq level 3 in childcare and education and it is recognised by tafe as a diploma
all you do is take it to tafe and they give you a certificate stating that it is recognised as this
there are heaps of childcare centers in australia
