NSW primary schools
Hi
Just looking for a bit of advice on NSW schools.
When looking at school websites (I'm in Western Sydney - Hills District), there seems to be some schools that teach a second language, most don't. There also seems to be some schools that offer opportunity classes for children who are ahead of their class mates, most don't.
Just wondering why some schools do this and some don't? I would have thought things like opportunity classes/learning another language would be rolled out across the state.
Some insight would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Re: NSW primary schools
The 'Opportunity' classes are only in selected schools. Anyone is able to apply for them by sitting an entrance exam but it is extremely competitive. The classes are based in one school and service a local area. Attendance at the school with the class does not give you access to the class.
