Welcome to wet and windy Perth, it took us two weeks to get our body clocks in working order.
Good luck with the job hunting, you may have more luck with carpentry skills given the busy development. We have been here for 6 weeks and haven't been offered an interview for anything. I applied for a job before I arrived which I was well qualified and experienced for ...nothing, I have gone to applying for shop work and as yet got no response. Chris similarly, we even put a notice on the local shopping centre board and found someone had removed it and replaced it with their own. (They must need work more than we do)
We had thought of buying land etc but there is so much for sale everywhere and with a poor outlook currently with work we wouldn't know where to buy.
What made you decide on Ellenbrook?
