Nothing to do with shitty glasses and it's a fact the petrol prices here have risen as a much higher %age than the UK has in the same time period. Also apparently the average Australian drives 2.5 times further than the average brit (source can't be assed to find it) So all the nonsense about petrol being cheaper here is tosh. A paddock used to cost me $20 to slash last year and now its nearly $40. Back to bannanas, the RPI isn't worked out based on whether people stop buying a thing or not, if they are in the basket of goods they are counted.
