Nottingham Meet November - Newbies very welcome
Hi to all new comers and stragglers of Nottingham and Derby.
There's a few of us who like to meet up occasionally and have a natter, a drink or two (maybe three or four!) and share our knowledge of the whole emigrate experience with a few laughs.
We are dwindling in numbers now as a lot of the lucky ones have flown the nest so to speak. Think there are about 8 of us left?
I am looking to arrange the next nite out and would love suggested dates and venues
Possibilities so far are Walkabout bar or Trent lady ....
Please post possible dates, numbers and interests and I will try to suit everyone....
One rule only we love to have fun, food and can't promise you will remember everything the next morning!
See all of you lucky so and sos on the other side - can't wait till its our turn.

We´d be up for if we can get a babysitter - prefer walkabout bar, so that would be me and Chaz who are going to Adelaide as soon as that visa arrives...............

Agent says she's confident they'll be putting an offer in - won't hold my breath though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are "Newbies" and would love to meet up with others aiming in the same direction as us! It would be great to talk with people who understand all the funny acronyms and hurdles that we find ourselves stumbling over.
Who are we.......... Chris and Chris (so that's easy). Aiming for Brisbane hopefully in Jan/Mar 07 initially on a student visa. We are dragging with us our 3 kids, aged 15, 12 and 2! Can you spot the clues here?? Late child (10 year gap), student visa?? Does this scream couple in their forties having a mid life crisis?
Please can we come?
