Reason I`m asking is because I`ve had 10 years digital tv transmission experience here in the UK, but there is no tv in Perth (except local news)... all the 24 transmission is done from Sydney (I could get a job at Foxtel but the whole point we`re moving back to Perth is to be near family again). The skills I could use are that I`m good with computers (can learn to use any practically any software), but I`m honestly worried I`ll end up in K-Mart or McDonalds after we get back in June.

The problem is afaik there is no local tv transmission. All the stations tranmissions got moved over to Sydney years ago. Only local things now are the news which they cut into the transmission.

If anyone is working in tv in Perth and knows different then tell me....
