I read a thread earlier that said there was no work in Perth. Does anyone know what the work situation is regarding air con/refridgeration eng (my hubby)?. If this is the case then we need to look at alternative areas, any suggestions?
Thanks

my bro is an airconditioner. He says he's on 2k a week some weeks.
aircon/frigies are in very short supply. So much so i'm thinking of switching trades!

Hi,
There are three jobs in todays (saturday) West Australian for Air Con Technicians, dont listen to the "cant get a jobs" they probably couldnt get a job anywhere in the world. I've had so many job opportunities out here you wouldnt believe it.

If you look hard enough you will find something that suits you. Be preapred to graft every day on it.

Reason I`m asking is because I`ve had 10 years digital tv transmission experience here in the UK, but there is no tv in Perth (except local news)... all the 24 transmission is done from Sydney (I could get a job at Foxtel but the whole point we`re moving back to Perth is to be near family again). The skills I could use are that I`m good with computers (can learn to use any practically any software), but I`m honestly worried I`ll end up in K-Mart or McDonalds after we get back in June.
