Nice aerial photo of the 'G and Melbourne
Just thought I'd share this excellent image from the Commonwealth Games website. You'll see how close the MCG and Melbourne Park (Rod Laver and Vodaphone arenas) and so on are to the city centre. It was taken a while ago and they superimposed the running track on the 'G and you won't see the 71 fish sculptures in the river! They extended from near the 'G to the city centre.
