will be from Oz, it's 1am here in penang and I'm sitting in a dark hotel room while all around me snore :rolleyes:

I have around 17 hours until my flight from here and another three until I board my flight for oz and I can't bloody sleep :mad:

I know how you feel, I have had trouble getting to sleep these last couple of weeks (normally I sleep like a log), then last night I had finally nodded off when the cat scratched my top lip!! :mad:

Bet you cant wait to get to Oz, you lucky bugger! :D

PMSL :D Sorry Bridie, but the lullabye was meant to be for Fraser to help him to nod off. You know, the one that you get on baby crib toys :)

Good thanks Caroline apart from the lack of sleep.

We'll be arriving in Melbourne about 6.45am so about 9.45 tomorrow night to you and Cas and Carl have been very kind and are picking us up from the airport :)

How have the kids coped with the jetlag Fraser...My kids get crabby when they lose an hour when the clocks change so I dread to think what jet lag is gonna do to 'em!!!

That's really good of Cas and Carl isn't it - nice to see friendly faces when you get off a plane after a long journey!!

Is Rachel ok?? Bet she's fast asleep...:D I know I would be...:D mind you I can sleep anywhere - have even been known to fall asleep standing up...:D

Hope you have a good flight tomorrow then and good luck in Melbourne - you deserve it!!

The flight out was a bit hellish as Bobby had a tantrum for two hours from take off.

The jetlag wasn't great either as Bobby decided to start playing at midnight on the second night and had us up all night we the woke up at 2pm not good when you're trying to acclimatise yourself to the Aussie time

Aww bless, bet you're all really knackered aren't you :( ...never mind, the rush of adrenalin as that plane touches down on the tarmac in Melbourne and all of this will just seem like a hazy dream...:D

Well i know what always makes me sleep like a log ... ;) but i dont think your wife would appreciate you waking her up !!! but you never know, perhaps a good slap in the face might help aswell :D

Ah-ha, now this is the root of the problem I have no books, two were due out soon and I expected to find them at the airport, they weren't there and only two weeks before they were due to be published.

Hey Frase,

R U still awake? If I can t sleep I lie in bed and really concentrate on my breathing and nothing else...Im normally asleep within 10 minutes. Failing that, as the others have said...give Rachel a poke! ;)
