Stick to Target, they are cheaper and if you expose enough flesh then no bloke here gives a monkey's where they came from.

Wassat? Shallow? Just telling it like it is ...

Target are currently selling a strappy kids top with exactly the same design as a top my 5yo bought in Next in July. Iy's just a different fabric. I also spotted a kids tee in Big W today that was pretty much identical to one we had from Next 2 years ago.

This isn't the first time I've seen Next clothes in Target. I also saw a Primark top I have in Big W the other week. The moral of the story........wee chinese man who maketh clothes for Next, also run a few up for Target at half the price so save yourself the bother:lol:.

I dont know where you can get them from but I have to disagree on them being the same as Target, Next clothes wash so much better and last longer than Target ! EVen though Target is getting better on their designs for kids clothes I still reckon I would get Next if I could!!

I agree I would too. I buy from Target and Pumpkin Patch, nearest I can get.

I know this is the long way round however you could buy them online and get them to delivered to a family member in the UK who can then post them on.

My sister-in-law told me she's had them shipped direct to her in QLD... haven't looked into it myself yet as she only mentioned it at the weekend, but it might be worth a nosey on their website to check it out.

Looks like I will be bringing all of my 18 month old daughters clothes out with me then! Would have left them here but most of her clothes are from next and even though they are 4 months old they still look like new. Better register for OZ ebay so people can get their fix!

Re: Next Clothes

Thankfully you cannot get Next stuff by mail unless a family member buys them and sends them to you. Target stuff is identical to much of Next stuff - buys from the same factory. The reason they "may" not last as well as Next crap is that drying outside in the sun here automatically fades and weakens clothes quicker than hanging them out to dry in the UK.

Re: Next Clothes

how do you know that next buys from the same factory as target?

Re: Next Clothes

Because buyers for Next have been on here in the past stating that fact and because I have in the past bought stuff from Target which turned out to be identical in every way, shape and form to Next stuff. I should imagine the same factory turns out the same stuff to lots of other countries as well.

I think Zara and Topshop have suppliers that distribute through other retailers in Oz as well. Not on a big scale, but have seen the same fabrics and designs over here.
