Default New water thrills on Gold Coast

A water park described as the world's most technologically advanced has opened on Queensland's Gold Coast.

The four-hectare WhiteWater World will offer a mix of adrenalin-pumping thrills and family-style fun.

Waterslides will include the LIM powered rocket coaster and eight-lane Octopus Racer.

The $60 million park will open from 10am to 5pm daily and will be heated during the winter months.

The park is located next door to Dreamworld.

We had tickets to the opening, but couldnt go, pity. Did make wet and wild since the tornado went in, loved it, so did the kids the Q is a good hour tho, and that was not school hols. Friends went to the dreamworld opening with our tickets but they thought it was pretty much similar to wet and wild.

Yep we are going to Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast, haven't decided yet!
Bit hard to make plans when we don't have a visa yet, but it's nice to try and figure out nice but cheap places to live with a good school/shops/church nearby!
So what are the winter temps like? day and night?
Suppose best know summer temps too!

Went to Sydney for four weeks 7 years ago, but was pregnant so made things hard anyway, went in October. Loved it but know that Queensland will be different!
