New to sydney, looking to meet people
Hi all, I'm a 28 yr old single girl currently working as an au pair mon-fri in st ives, just 20 mins on the train From sydney. I am completely alone! Anyone got tips on meeting people?

Posting on here was a start! There is a regular meet up for drinks in the CBD on thursdays- watch this forum for info. I am in St Ives, but have never been, since pubs are not my thing, and I'm an "elderly" 52!!
Do you have any sporting interests? Joining a club will get you involved with people, or if sports is not your thing there are musical societies, church groups etc....

Come and join us in the CBD every Thursday for a meet up/chat/drink. We are a random bunch of singles and couples (mid-20s up) who get together at a different pub every week. Nothing too hedonistic, just a great place to have a natter.
