My husband and I have recently arrived in Perth in December and were wondering whether there are any of you out there who meet up with other ex-pats for general pom whingeing and sharing stories about life down under?

We are currently living SOR although we have already been drawn into the debate about which area is best - South or North!

If any of you fancy meeting up and helping a couple of newbies settle in, we'd love to hear from you.

We are both in our early 30's - no kids! - love socialising and meeting new people.

My husband, Ian and I got our visas this week and we are due to arrive in Perth on 18th of Feb. I am 23 and Ian is 29, we have no kiddies (yet!) and will be dying to meet people when we get to Oz

Yep we are definitely up for meeting new people when we hit Perth, name a time and a place and we will be there

We arrive in Perth on the 18th Feb and will deffo PM you when we get settled! Not even sure where we are going to live yet!
