Default new to au immi...pls clarify a doudt

hi friends
I have a doubt...if I get 0 point in work experience do i qualify for immigration.Or is it that the candidate should have some points in this category. In my case if I add my score taking 0 in wrk experience category the score comes out to be 120,
which is more than pass mark.My work exp is less than 4 but more than 3.
Skill-60
Age-30
English Language-20
Work Exp-0
MODL-5 (no job offer)
Total-115
But I have read in the site(http://www.minister.immi.gov.au/medi...a03/r03018.htm) that from 1 July 2003 onwards the points awarded in MODL has increased by 5,ie,if ur Skill is mentioned with no job offer its increased from 5 to 10 & if you have job offer it is increased from 10 to 15.So if I add 5 more the score becomes whooping 120.

Although I qualify yet I have a fear in mind that is it must to score some points in work experience(5 or 10).

Can anybody suggest me if I qualify for skilled independent immigration?

Thanx in advance

HI Rubalsidhu:
No, you can apply for Skilleld Independent Migration without scoring any points for specific job experience. However, you do need to meet the basic requirement of having been in paid employment for at least 20 hours a week for a period of 12 months in the 18 months just before you apply. Do you meet this condition? Further, claiming points for MODL might require the skills assessment agency to impose on you a minimum work experience requirement (like ACS).

Thanx engin77
I have 3 year full time paid exp, 40 hours a week.
But there is one more doubt again,as u said ......."Further, claiming points for MODL might require the skills assessment agency to impose on you a minimum work experience requirement (like ACS)."

How can I know this minimum requirement,FYI,I have 4 year degree in computer science with 3 year full time experience in J2EE,ecommerce which is mentioned in MODL.But in MODL the experience factor is not mentioned.
How can I check the minimum no years required by ACS to assess my application??

Can u guide me on this?
